Boat Lift Safety Before Operation
A practical pre-operation review for owners and guests.

Confirm people, pets, lines, fenders, loose gear, and obstructions are clear before moving the lift. The operator should be able to see the boat and lift throughout travel. Never treat a remote command as permission to operate without visual awareness.
Check the boat position
Verify the hull is centered and aligned with the bunks or cradle. Watch the stern, bow, propeller, shaft, trim tabs, transducers, and other fittings. Stop immediately if the boat shifts, the lift moves unevenly, or anything contacts unexpectedly.
Respond to abnormal operation
Unusual sound, smell, heat, vibration, delayed response, visible electrical damage, leaking hoses, or uneven movement calls for stopping the system and arranging qualified evaluation. Keep the controller details and current photos available when contacting support.
Use the lift details to make the final decision
